The 2025 ICOI Japan Chapter General Meeting and Academic Conference will be held on November 8th (Sat) and 9th (Sun) in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo. As the conference chairman, I sincerely welcome your participation. Last year, the conference was held in Kyushu, but this year, it will be held in Tokyo, and since it is easily accessible from both inside and outside Japan, we would like to invite speakers from Korea, Australia, Taiwan, the Philippines, etc., to make the conference more international.
This conference aims to be beneficial for a wide range of people, including dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, and students who are interested in implant treatment, and also to provide a place for everyone to interact.
The theme of this conference is "The best implant treatment for patients," and we will introduce various treatment methods to provide the best implant treatment for patients, so that there are more options for treatment methods, and we will also focus on implant treatment using the latest technology and introduce research and clinical practice that can contribute to improving the safety and efficiency of treatment.
We will invite cutting-edge clinicians and researchers to give keynote speeches and hold symposiums to discuss the current state and future of implant treatment. We appreciate your active support and participation.

It is a common understanding not only in the dental industry but in all industries that improving productivity through digital technology will be a breakthrough to social issues such as a declining labor force. Unexpectedly, in recent years in the dental industry, the spread of CAD/CAM equipment such as intraoral scanners has made it possible to digitally support the production of most prosthetics and dental prostheses. However, digitalization that only substitutes manual work for machines does not bring about much benefit. The significance of digitalization can only be maximized when a system is created that takes advantage of the productivity improvement brought about by digitalization. This is DX (digital transformation). At our hospital, we have been carrying out quite extreme DX over the past six years in particular. The results have been tremendous, and the lives of both my staff and myself have changed completely, including the economics. Today, I will talk about the essence of it.
